Savage Deviljho grows as it feeds — don't let it. Use a Dung Pod to drive other monsters away, or a Flash Pod / hit mid-chew to interrupt. Aim for the head. A hunter pinned by its grab can break that pin with a Flash Pod. Its breath applies Dragonblight; a Nulberry clears it, and until then your element stops landing.
